The Healthy Aging Company Appoints Modulus Biotech as Its Exclusive Worldwide Partnering and Licensing Representative for ALF5755

We are proud to announce that Prof. Christian Bréchot and The Healthy Aging Company have retained Modulus Biotech to advance their first-in-class REG3A (HIP/PAP) therapeutic, ALF5755, toward co-development and licensing partnerships worldwide. As THAC's exclusive worldwide partnering and licensing representative, we will lead partnering strategy and execution across five indication areas. The work begins with the liver indications, where the program is most advanced.

The five indication areas are acute liver failure, acute-on-chronic liver failure, type 2 diabetes including diabetic neuropathy, Alzheimer's disease, and traumatic brain injury. The science behind them is Prof. Bréchot's own: his group at the Centre Hépato-Biliaire did the original work on the HIP/PAP molecule, and he leads THAC today as its Founder and Chairman.

Data · Insight · Impact

Modulus Biotech specializes in biopharmaceutical business development. We link drug discovery scientists with pharmaceutical companies. Our expertise is in identifying, structuring, negotiating, and managing co-development partnerships, license agreements, and other commercial transactions in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. We provide exclusive scientific representation to distinguished scientists whose patented and near-patented molecules sit at the cutting edge of bioscience, structuring the pharma co-development deals that advance those discoveries from the laboratory into clinical development. Our practice focuses on rare diseases and oncology — the therapeutic areas where breakthrough science means the most.

Between 2025 and 2030, a wave of major patent expirations is pulling billions in annual revenue out of large pharma's established portfolios — a financial cliff driving urgent demand for new pipeline assets. Modulus represents the scientists whose molecules can fill that gap.

Our incentives align with the discovery, the inventor, and the advancement of meaningful therapeutic outcomes — particularly in rare diseases and oncology, where the successful translation of these molecules into approved therapies depends on disciplined representation.

What we do

Exclusive scientific representation

We work directly and exclusively with scientists whose molecules sit at the cutting edge of bioscience — protecting their interests, managing the business side, and freeing them to stay focused on the research.

Pharma co-development deals

We identify, negotiate, and manage co-development partnerships, license agreements, and commercial transactions on your behalf.

Rare diseases & oncology focus

Special emphasis on the therapeutic areas where breakthrough science means the most: rare and orphan diseases, and oncology — the indications where conventional development pipelines have historically fallen short.

Targeted pharma outreach

We identify and approach the specific pharmaceutical companies whose pipelines, therapeutic focus, and development stage make them real candidates — not blast lists.

Deal structuring & negotiation

Term sheets, milestone payments, royalty structures, co-development economics — we negotiate the agreement the science deserves, not the first one offered.

Confidentiality & advocacy

Every conversation, every disclosure, every term sheet — held in strictest confidence. We are the scientist's voice in every room they're not in, and the firewall protecting their work in every room they are.
